Wrightington Fisheries located just off the m6 junction 27 provides a quite, tranquil and tidy environment for either a pleasure day of fishing or an official match booking.

Here is some information about the pleasure fishing:
  • Day ticket available on site.
  • Match booking can be taken by an official angling club by ringing Paul.

  • Price 
                   - £6.00 day ticket 
                   - £4.00 concession


Fishery Rules
  • Fishing time -dawn til dusk.
  • Bait Bans: No boilies; Bloodworms; Nuts.
  • Barbless hooks only.
  • No keep nets except from matches.
  • Loose feed inclusive maximum 1 kilo.
  • Coarse pellets only (no trout).
  • Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

    Hi Paul, I was there yesterday for the first time, I had a great day, good weather, great fishery, I must if had well over 100lb of fish, will be back very soon. Andy :)

    Been going with my dad for last 18 mths and have only ever fished the canals.Always had exert lent days fishing on both canals plenty of fish every session.Recently got invited by a local business to fish charity match on rivington view .So me and my dad went for a practise on Lake ,and were amazed in the difference there was to the canal .We were both shocked at the quality of fish,and size one of the best venues I have ever fished between us we had a fantastic days fishing in a well mantained venue. Must thank Paul for one of the best maintained venue I have visited with good space between pegs on all the ponds and canals MUST VISIT VENUE.
